Patrick Beilein is a former professional basketball player and coach. He is the son of John Beilein, a well-known college basketball coach who has coached at schools such as Michigan and West Virginia.
Patrick Beilein played college basketball at West Virginia University, where he was a team captain and earned All-Big East Academic Team honors. After college, he played professionally in Belgium for several years before transitioning into coaching.
